Quiet dinner for two? Family party? Or just a leisurely drink with friends. The King & Queen at Longcot offers just that, and more.
From evening meals to Sunday lunches (our gravy recipe is top secret), we take food very seriously. Take your pick from a delicious menu featuring locally sourced produce plus a wide selection of drinks. Want to know where the ingredients in your meal came from? Ask Mark – owner and head chef – and he’ll be happy to tell you.

Love music? On Friday we sometimes have live bands and there’s even a piano in the bar if you fancy a go yourself. And that’s not the only entertainment. There’s a toy corner for the kids and a large selection of board games, too.

Been out on a walk and in need of a refuel? Dogs are welcome here, too either in the cosy bar or outside in our private, (hopefully) sun-filled garden which has views to the White Horse. They’ll even find their own jar of dog biscuits behind the bar.

Can’t keep away? Then stay here, in one of our newly refurbished guest rooms. All are en suite with TVs and tea and coffee making facilities so you can kick back and relax ready for the next day of fun exploring the gorgeous villages and countryside nearby.

Went to longcot for a weekend and after a quick trip to the king and queen we ended up spending most of the weekend there. The food was excellent, well prepared and well presented. The beer was fresh and well kept and all enjoyed in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Strongly recommend a visit!
